Dr. Caskey is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Genetics, and Molecular Genetics with 25 years of patient care experience. Dr. Caskey is currently directing a program of Precision Medicine with Young Presidents Organization (YPO) co-sponsored by The Cullen Foundation for Higher Education.
He is a Consultant to Human Longevity, Inc. and a member of the Board of Metabolon, Inc., both, leaders in precision medicine technology.

 

Dr Ahmed El-Sohemy
PhD


Dr. Ahmed El-Sohemy is a Full Professor at the University of Toronto and has held a Canada Research Chair in Nutrigenomics. The goal of his research is to elucidate the genetic basis for variability in nutrient response on health and performance.
In 2013, Dr. El-Sohemy was named one of the top 10 inventors of the year by UofT and the following year he was awarded the Centrum Foundation New Scientist Award for Outstanding Research by the Canadian Nutrition Society. In 2016, he was awarded the Mark Bieber Professional Award by the American College of Nutrition.
He is the founder of Nutrigenomix Inc., serves as Chief Scientific Officer and Chair’s the company’s International Science Advisory Board.

 

Dr Valentini Konstantinidou

Dr. Valentini Konstantinidou is a lecturer and researcher in the field of Nutritional Genomics and the founder of DNANUTRICOACH®. She has extended teaching and academic experience in public and private Universities and Research Institutions in Spain and Greece since 2001. She has a multidisciplinary working and research experience in prestigious research groups around the world such as Tufts University, Boston, IMDEA, Madrid, IMIM, Barcelona, URV, Reus, HHF, Athens.

 

Dr Mev Dominguez-Valentin

Dr Mev Dominguez-Valentin is a scientist at the Institute for Cancer Research at Oslo University Hospital (Norway), Director of the scientific board of the European Hereditary Tumor Group (EHTG), Curator of the Prospective Lynch Syndrome Database (PLSD) and the International Society of GastroIntestinal Tumors (InSIGHT) and Scientific member board of the Latin American Hereditary Tumor Group (LA-GETH). She is Chair of the Research Committee of the Collaborative Group fo the America (CGA) and Co-founder of the Research Experience for Peruvian Undergraduates Program (REPU), board of the international mentoring program in Peru and actively promotes the research of Peruvian scientists in Europe.

 

Dr Sarah Camargos

Dr Sarah Camargos is the coordinator of the Neurology Service at HC-UFMG. She has experience in the field of Neurology, with an emphasis on Neurogenetics and Movement Disorders, acting on the following subjects: Parkinsonism, early-onset Parkinson's, Huntington's disease, dystonias and spinocerebellar ataxias.

 

Dr Isabella Barcelos

Post-Doctoral Fellow in Molecular Genetics at the Center for Applied Genomics - Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia – PA, USA

Dr Isabella is a Neuropediatrician with Neurogenetic and Neurometabolic Fellowship - University of Sao Paulo (USP), São Paulo-Brazil. Her main research project focused on understanding the genetics of mitochondrial diseases using genomics combining techniques from m molecular biology, genetics, genomics, and neuroscience. Those are also used to study others neuropediatric diseases like autism.

Dr Guilherme is a Pharmacist, Doctor in Biochemistry (UFRGS, 2012), Professor at the Department of Physiology at UFRGS, Researcher at CNPq and member of CTNBio.
He is also a researcher at the Gene Therapy Center at the “Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre” (HCPA) working mainly in the development of new therapies for rare diseases, with special emphasis on gene therapy and gene editing.

 

Dr Martha Quezado

Dr Quezado is Deputy Head of Surgical Pathology Section and Program Director of Anatomic Pathology Residency at the Laboratory of Pathology/NCI/NIH.
Her main research interests are in the areas of neuropathology and gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine pathology. She is interested in utilizing molecular signatures to better classify tumors and therefore try improving targeted therapy. She utilizes methylation profiling of brain tumors to improve classification of tumors and potential discovery of new entities.

Dr Eduardo Krieger has been a professor at the University of Sao Paulo since 1990. He works at the Department of Cardiopneumology at the Faculty of Medicine of USP, where he is a Professor of Genetics and Molecular Medicine and director of the Laboratory of Genetics and Molecular Cardiology at InCor-HCFMUSP. He is a regular member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and the State of São Paulo Academy of Sciences and was Dean of Research at the University of São Paulo (2014 to January 2018). His research activities are focused on identifying molecular markers associated with the genesis of cardiovascular disease and developing new therapeutic approaches for cardiac regeneration.
